I’m sure there are situations in our lives that we feel we have no control over and that somehow we were dealt a bad hand.
I want you to look at this picture for a moment … what do you see? (Don’t cheat and read more until you look at it.)
Did you do it?
Ok, so what do you see?
Statistically, 80% will see a young woman, with her head turned away from you … right?
But there’s another picture there, which most people don’t see, and that’s an old witch with a big nose and no teeth.
In case you don’t see it, look at the cheek bone of the young woman, which is actually the witch’s nose, and the black choker necklace is actually the witch’s mouth.
Regardless of which picture you saw, the first time someone looks at it, they only see one or the other.
But when you look at it long enough, the other image snaps in, and it’s like an “Aha” moment – the moment of discovery – “there she is!”
These “Aha” moments are like a sudden recognition of something you’ve been looking for but not seeing.
Most people see one thing, and never realize there’s more to it.
While lots of people see what’s happening with this economy as devastating and a dead end with no hope …
… others see huge opportunities.
And it’s simply because of the limited beliefs we have inside. Limited beliefs and the fact that you don’t give yourself credit of your knowledge and your worth!
Unfortunately, this is something we can thank our society for training us so well to do.
Most people can’t see past the next paycheck, and don’t think they have anything of value to offer for which they can charge big bucks.
And when they see someone “make it,” they’re quick to dismiss it as good luck or fate.
Nothing gets more under my skin then when I hear people talk about luck.
As if taking risks, working hard, and paying the price had nothing to do with it.
The point is, we’re all unique and we all have something tremendous we can offer.
If you’re feeling stuck, I challenge you to look inside and around yourself and see if you can spot opportunities you haven’t seen before.
What? The opportunities are not there? Did you not give yourself credit like I told you to?
… I GUARANTEE there’s A HECK OF A LOT MORE to you and your situation than what you see or give yourself credit for.
You just simply need to look for it.
It is important to give yourself credit for the good things that you do!
Use this card for yourself or to share with anyone you think needs to give themselves more credit.
All you have to do is list six good things about you on the bottom of your Credit Card. The next time you are a feeling doubtful about yourself, take this card out and give yourself credit!
